Failure

I’ve failed as a lover, and I’ve failed as a friend. I’ve failed as a brother, an artist, a worker, and as a companion. I’ve failed as a son. The God I’ve prayed to seems to have become weary of listening, and I can’t say that I blame him. I’ve failed too much. Now it’s up to me. I can’t afford to fail at anything else.

Biblical Quote

I’ve never claimed to be a very religious person. While I was in the Air Force, my dog tags read “no religious preference”. If anything, I’ve claimed to be Agnostic time and time again. However, I can never take away the beauty of some scripture. So, I’m posting a biblical quote.

Morally Corrupt

The world is filled with morally corrupt pieces of shit that are ripe for the picking. Deserving of the worst that the world has to offer. I guess it’s fun in the gutter.

Pray If You Want To

Pray if it makes you feel better, though it may fall on deaf ears

You’re saved, do your dirt and you’re still forgiven

Liars, cheats, thieves, murderers, rapists, and whores, filling the world with pain over the years

 

Lust, envy, sloth, greed, pride, gluttony, and wrath; all of the fun things in between

I’ll have my baptism by fire rather than fear what can’t be seen

 

So go on and pray if you want to, it makes no difference to me
